All the staff were very friendly and very efficient. I got to my appointment 10 minutes late but as soon as I walked in everything was ready for us. They handled my cats very well! The cats felt comfortable enough to roam the room even while the tech and doctor were with us. Doctor Sakamoto was very friendly and very experienced with everything I needed for the cats! Definitely would bring my cats back!

So glad I chose Aina Haina Vet to take my cat to!! Everyone I encountered was very kind! The office was pristinely clean and they only take a few patients at a time so the waiting room was not crowded at all and my girl was no stressed. No waiting at all, they were extremely prompt at every point, we were in and out in 30 minutes but never felt rushed at all. Our tech Kaelyn was very sweet and knowledgeable and Dr. Onuma was amazing, both very sweet and my very anxious cat was very comfortable with them so you know they had a good energy! They also had my cats name on a board in the room which I thought was so cute and shows they truly care about each appointment not just getting you in and out. Definitely going to become our regular vet clinic!!!

Dr. Park and Dr. Onaga are outstanding (I am sure all the doctors are, we have only worked with these 2)! You have a wonderful team and we appreciate your care of our pet very much. From reception to technicians, everyone clearly loves what they do and loves our fur babies!

We are fairly new to the clinic but each time we visit, it’s a positive experience for our pet Zoe & us. Zoe is very pensive with vets. Dr Onaga is friendly & compassionate & appears to be very competent. The staff is another plus. We’re quite impressed thus far & are thankful we found a good place for Zoe.

Dozer, Mahina, Saja and Tofu love going to see Dr. Onaga and ALL the Aina Haina Vet aunties and uncles. We are well taken care of, spoiled with affection and the ladies upfront always have patience with our mom who is normally frazzled taking us in 2 at a time. I would highly recommend bringing your fur kids here.

The team at Aina Haina Veterinary Clinic have taken excellent care for our cats and communicated very clearly to us about their health issues, all with a warm, caring attitude. They are the best!

Dr Sakamoto is always so kind and very gentle with my dog. He knows that she has anxiety issues and he makes her feel comfortable. He takes the time to answer questions and does not make us feel rushed. You can tell that he really cares and wants to ensure your pet stays healthy. He is the BEST!!!

Being a retired military family, we’ve been to a lot of different vets over the years but Dr. Onaga is by far our favorite vet we’ve ever brought our kitty to. He is so kind and thorough in his explanations and doesn’t make you feel rushed like so many others do. Also, the rest of the staff we’ve interacted with is great and the office is clean—we love Aina Haina Vet!

I cannot say enough good things about this vet clinic! From the wonderful vet techs to Dr. Sakamoto and Dr. Onaga, they run an amazing team here. Our Amstaff Nigel isn't the easiest dog, really sweet but full of energy and getting himself in trouble. Through out all of his mishaps and allergies, they are able to address and resolve them all with a lot of care. Definitely outstanding in every aspect!

this was Sam's semi-annual checkup. Dr Takayama briefed me on several recommendations and the results of testing. We're in good shape for a 12-year-old dog. The Aina Haina Clinic is a welcome place to visit and their office staff are helpful.

AHVC has great, competent, warm staff! The vets and techs actually encourage and then answer my questions and have never made me feel belittled for any concern I've ever had. But the real stars are the front desk staff - such delightful people! They always see me coming and run to the door to open it for me; always greet with a real, warm smile; are always kind and willing to help with anything from splitting payments to scanning something so I can have a digital copy to rescheduling. Having lived on the mainland for most of my life, I'm used to vet staff who scoff or sigh or frown or roll their eyes or say they'll get back to me and then never do. It truly is wonderful to get to work with AHVC!

Brooke was so kind & helpful. She offered other services which was greatly appreciated. Dr. Onaga continues to be the very best vet ever.

A beautiful clinic, friendly staff and a veterinarian who is thorough with his examinations. He is fluent in both Japanese and English.

I cannot say enough good things about this practice. They are wonderful. Very compassionate, and very very fair prices. They do not over test, over treat, or over prescribe. You can tell that everyone who works there deeply cares about animals. I had to put my senior rescue dog down today on an emergency basis, and they took me in within 15 minutes, let me hold her during IV insertion and medication insertion, and created a special experience for me and my girl with a quiet room with a couch so I could hold her and comfort her. Shout out to Dr. Onaga who patiently checked her more than once at my request to be sure her heart had stopped after the injection. They even had a separate exit for me and my husband to bypass the waiting room in our grief. They have my loyalty and trust for all my pets and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

We have been with Aina Haina Vet Clinic since my pup was just 10 weeks old. Every visit to Aina Haina Vet Clinic is pleasant and I feel 100% supported. The doctors are confident, take their time, and are very thorough with their diagnosis. I appreciate how Dr. Sakamoto asks, "Do you have any other questions?" before ending the appointment--it's such a relief because I have a thousand questions as a new dog mom! The front desk staff are professional, courteous, and very helpful. Free coffee and tea is a plus! My only feedback for improvement is that I wish the point of sale system would allow me to review the charges before I swipe my card.

Dr. Sakamoto is very thorough, knowledgeable, and so empathetic and kind. We really love his “bedside manner” and I feel like my dogs are in the best hands. We have come to love the staff and Vets at Aina Haina veterinary clinic. When are most precious doggy died suddenly they not only called to express their condolences. They sent a card and everyone on the staff Wrote something in reference to our little buddy. That sealed it for me. Kindness compassion wins out every time! We trust Aina Haina Vet Clinic so much! After a bad experience at a different vet, we are so happy with the services we've received here. The clinic is clean and calm, all the staff are super nice, scheduling is a breeze, and most importantly, Dr. Kaya and Dr. Onaga have taken great care of our cat. Thought Finn ate some raisins. Called Aina Haina Veterinary Clinic. Was told to bring Finn in immediately. Once I arrived, Finn was seen immediately. The care Finn got was top notch. Everyone made time, squeezed him in the already busy schedule they have, showed so much concern not only for Finn but for me also. Finn is fine. The staff and the front desk are warm, helpful and professional, the technicians are amazing, always caring and helpful, and the docs are above and beyond with the care they have provided not only to my dogs and cats but to us when we had to make hard decisions and say goodbye to one of our babies. Took Ari and her 7 pups today for their first set of shots. Dr. Sakamoto and the staff’s level of care is excellent. In between their initial visit 7 weeks ago and today, I had so many questions on puppy care and called the staff/front desk frequently. They were so were so accommodating and nice. I also like the visit summary/report card Dr. Sakamoto provides after each visit. It makes follow-up care much easier.

I have had many dogs throughout my life, and have seen many veteranians over the years. I am very happy to have found Dr. Sakamoto. He was very gentle with my timid dog and took his time with her. He is very thorough in his exam and explanations and offered me treatment options. I am at ease to know that I have found a vet that is both caring and knowledgeable.
